Another Southwest Florida November and another delightful Bimini Basin Raft Up! Set up was early afternoon Friday under a clear sky and warm temperatures. With Thor's Hammer as anchor boat, Jersey Girl, Irish Mist and Paradigm lashed up to enjoy an easy afternoon and great heavy appetizers that evening. There was a bit of a chill in the air Saturday morning as we dined on a gourmet pancake and sausage breakfast prepared by Kathy Tapken. Accompanied, of course by Bloodies and Mimosas! Paradise arrived early on with Integrity joining the fray after a slight off course excursion. (no harm-no foul!!!) The Blackford and Fanizzo clans came to visit and the Servatis took advantage of the pooch and people water taxi to join us for another great meal of more appetizers, pulled pork, cole slaw and baked beans. After all that plus desserts, the food comas started to set in so everyone was down for the count fairly early. Sunday arrived with the obligatory Sunday paper, doughnuts, Bloodies and Mimosas. After more great conversation, the raft was broken at noon and everyone went their separate ways. All in all, another great raft up! We all look forward to the next one!!
