The
weekend
of
November
13th
found
seven
RPYC
boats
heading
for
the
protected
waters
of
Bimini
Basin
for
the
annual
November
raft
up.
With
a
promising
forecast
,
great
company
and
good
food
and
drink
involved,
the
prospects
of a
fun
weekend
were
high.
The
raft
came
together
smoothly
with
no
problems
at
all
and
the
fun
began.
Friday
was
heavy
hors’deouvres
nite
and
was
the
spread
impressive!
A
few
cordials
were
had
and
the
stories
started!
Saturday
the
rafters
awoke
to
the
aroma
of
fresh
coffee,
pancakes
and
sausages
with
Bloodies
and
Screwdrivers
to
help
wash
things
down.
After
breakfast,
we
were
on
our
own,
so
some
went
dinking,
some
went
to
shore
via
the
shuttle
boat
and
others
just
relaxed.
The
shuttle
ferried
folks
that
came
to
visit
and
some
to
stay
for
dinner.
Cocktails
led
to a
dinner
of
pulled
pork
sandwiches,
cole
slaw,
potato
salad
and
baked
beans.
There
was
much
more
conversation
and
more
cocktails
which
let
the
stories
flow.
Sunday
was
a
pastry
breakfast
and
a
relaxing
read
of
the
Sunday
paper.
Around
10
or
so,
the
raft
started
to
break
up
and
good
byes
were
said
with
all
looking
forward
to
the
next
Bimini
Basin
Raft
Up.
