The
Ladies Summer Gathering on August 21
was a delightful day spent
in learning how to freshen your look
with cosmetics and relax
through massage. Sheltered from the
torrential rains from Tropical Storm
Fay, the ladies heard all about the
benefits of massage from
Jolene MacDuffie of Massage by
Jolene. Many took advantage of her
offer of chair massages.
Member JoAn Huff, a cosmetologist
with Lancome at Dillard's brought
her colleagues Erica, the Lancome
Counter Manager, and Ann Marie, a
Lancome color specialist, to
describe how to update and brighten
our faces with cosmetic touches.
They did makeovers for several of us
and touched up makeup and gave
specific color and product hints to
many others.
Drawing hostesses were Chris Burger,
Kathy Tapken and Dorothy
Kersey-Berger.
Chairing the event were Mary Ann
Merrill and Cathy Sangiovanni.
